Oak corner post replaced on 16th Century cottage. Time to start cutting and shaping of this oak timber for repairs to a 16th Century cottage. Structural elements can be made into features to enhance an awkward space. Reclaimed materials either bought in or reused from elsewhere on site create an established feel. Even a room without windows can be bright and airy if the right materials and finishes are used. Structural steelwork is an invaluable element when creating a large open room. This section of the kitchen was gutted prior to a full fit out along with a large extension. 17th century farmhouse undergoing restoration and refurbishment works. Brickwork can be customised to a customer's requirements as well as complementing the surroundings. Work in progress. Lime mortar pointing completed. A challenging kitchen refurbishment. Floor, walls and ceiling all out of level/plumb. Corners out of square and running out. The customer is happy with the finished kitchen. The style suits the room and building. Traditional with modern touches.
